This week, Bristol musicians and activists Edward Wren and Jacob Warn released a new Christmas single in aid of Action for Education. “The Love We Promise” is a song that speaks to our troubled times and appeals to listeners to take action.
Set against the backdrop of Brexit, elections, climate catastrophe and the refugee crisis, this song asks listeners to consider Christmas as part of the solution. The song invites us to widen our vision beyond the shopping malls and festive markets and to promise a more meaningful kind of love.
With the song comes an opportunity to make a small donation to Action for Education, a grassroots charity running safe spaces for young refugees in Greece. Their global teams of volunteers fight for human rights throughout the year. Your support can make a difference this Christmas.
So, what love will you promise this Christmas?
