The queen of Palmyra / Syria Birth name in Aramaic: Bat Zabbai

Born: 240 A.D. Deceased: 274A.D. Rome Burial: Palmyra, Syria

Bat Zabbai or Zenobia was the queen of Palmyra who led into civil disobedience against the Roman Empire with her husband Ozeina and managed to take control over the majority of Syria.

After her husband’s death, she invaded Egypt and parts of Asia Minor for a short period of time before being defeated and captured by the Emperor Aurelius, who transferred her to Rome where she died in mysterious circumstances.

This is only a brief biography about the queen Zenobia.
